My dear friends, I am so happy that you chose NOLA, this wonderful place, to start your new life here. I know that life can be tough when you are alone in a different country or different city. But please always remember that Chi Alpha can be your sweet home and you can find your big, warm and lovely family here. You will have chance to make friends with some of the most wonderful and nice people in the world. And there are so many different events which are both interesting and meaningful, from which you can not only know more about God and Christianity, but also know more about yourself and how to be a better person. For me, I love the volunteer events most because from giving away what you have and helping others, you can feel the self-satisfaction and really see how God can work on other's lives.
Enjoy your new life in NOLA with Chi Alpha, and let's wait and see what kind of great plan God has for you.

During my one year in Tulane, it was always exciting to expect the Bible Study events held by Chi-Alpha each week. Although I am not a Christian, and did not even hear of what Jesus taught before I came to the U.S., it was always fun and thought-provoking to discuss with the sophisticated Chi-Alpha members. Maybe the discussion and doubts about Jesus make me look like an alien to Americans ( the truth is I AM a foreigner(laugh)). But the Chi-Alpha members were always open-minded to any discussion and were willing to share their thoughts.
They are honest people of integrity. They will not lie about understanding all of God’s teachings, and they will face the doubts and questions and do the thinking just like normal people, even non-believers, and even non-believing foreigners.
To all of you M.Fin guys, I strongly recommend you to have a try on the Bible discussion event. If you are a believer, there are sophisticated professionals who may enlighten your thoughts. If you are a non-believer just like me, you can ask any question about Christianity and get a deep understanding of what it is about.
For advertising purpose, there are also snacks, cup-cakes, soft drinks, new friends, and cute baby! It is definitely worth a trial!
